To improve the quality of life for the residents in our community by:

  • Informing of community issues;

  • Organizing social events to help foster a strong sense of community; 

  • Representing our neighbourhood on issues that impact our quality of life, natural environment, safety and/or property investment;

  • Addressing member’s concerns;

  • Enhancing Hindhead park;

 
Who we are
 

The Clarkson Fairfields Rate Payers Association (CFSRA) has served the residents of April Dr., Hartland Dr., Hindhead Rd., Welwyn Dr. and Whittington Rd., since 1999 and welcomed Balsam Ave. residents in 2016.  The CFSRA is run by a board of directors that are made up of volunteer community residents that are committed to enhancing the neighbourhood by protecting the interests of residents in our community.

What does the board do?

Your board members pro-actively represent you and the neighborhood before:

  • City Council and ‘open houses’ with city staff

  • Ward 2 focus groups, and other, relevant public meetings

  • Your local Councilor, M.P.P and M.P

  • Local authorities dealing with issues of concern

  • Neighbouring ratepayers’ groups and MIRANET (Mississauga Residents’ Association Network)

  • Petro-Canada/Suncor Community Liaison Committee

  • Clarkson Business Association (BIA)

They also:

  • Champion an annual clean-up day of Hindhead Park

  • Coordinate an annual Spring Garage Sale day for our neighborhood

  • Organize at least one neighborhood winter & summer event and

  • Co-sponsor All Candidates Meetings prior to elections at the Municipal, Provincial & Federal level

  • Represent the neighbourhood with Mississauga and Peel concerns over issues as speeding, road repairs, safety issues, etc.
